Description
Nonprofit association seeks a Director of Information Technology to provide strategic oversight of technology operations.
Responsibilities:
Develop IT strategy and implement technology initiatives that align with departmental objectives.
Regularly monitor network security and ensure systems are available and easily accessible to internal staff and external users.
Serve as a point of contact for external IT service providers while developing contracts and establishing policies and best practices related to data and systems.
Evaluate new technologies, recommend IT solutions, and identify opportunities to improve delivery and user experience.
Manage technology services, such as mobile devices and email systems.
Facilitate staff training in cybersecurity and data protection.
Maintain websites, portals, databases, and cloud-based communications platforms.
Ensure compliance with technology policies and regulations.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Customer-service oriented and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Flexible and able to adapt to changing environments.
Strong time management and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in information technology.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in information technology.
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year.
