A growing technology-driven organization is looking for a Director of Infrastructure to lead the strategy, architecture, and execution of its global infrastructure environment.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who enjoys balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution — someone who can modernize systems, improve scalability, strengthen security, and build the foundation needed to support continued growth.

You’ll partner closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to drive infrastructure strategy, optimize operations, and ensure the organization has the technology backbone needed to scale.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive infrastructure strategy aligned with business objectives and growth initiatives
Lead the architecture, implementation, and ongoing optimization of enterprise infrastructure across cloud, networking, systems, and security environments
Own infrastructure reliability, availability, performance, and scalability initiatives
Drive modernization efforts including cloud adoption, automation, monitoring, and operational improvements
Establish and maintain infrastructure standards, processes, documentation, and best practices
Oversee incident management, disaster recovery, business continuity, and risk mitigation strategies
Partner with security teams to strengthen infrastructure security, compliance, and data protection initiatives
Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations that improve efficiency and business outcomes
Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing infrastructure team
Collaborate with IT leadership and business stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and deliver impactful solutions

Qualifications
8+ years of experience in infrastructure, systems engineering, cloud operations, or related technology leadership roles
Proven experience leading enterprise infrastructure strategy and large-scale technology initiatives
Strong understanding of cloud platforms, networking, virtualization, security, and systems architecture
Experience managing infrastructure in a growing or evolving organization
Demonstrated success improving reliability, automation, and operational efficiency
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor teams and influence stakeholders across the organization
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes

Preferred Experience
Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Background managing hybrid infrastructure environments
Experience with infrastructure automation, DevOps practices, and configuration management tools
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, compliance requirements, and risk management
Experience leading infrastructure transformations or scaling technology operations
