Position Overview
The Director of Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) Program is responsible for the strategic leadership, clinical oversight, operational management, and continuous improvement of CFHC, Inc.'s Integrated Behavioral Health Program. The Integrated Behavioral Health Program includes both short and long-term therapy for all mental health conditions including substance use disorder and tailored care management program activities and associated case management services. The Director ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered behavioral health services that are fully integrated into primary care and dental settings while supporting the organization''s mission, vision, values, and strategic objectives.
The Director leads behavioral health providers, case managers, and support staff, oversees program development and compliance, promotes evidence-based practices, and fosters interdisciplinary collaboration to improve patient outcomes and address whole-person care. The Director serves as a key leader in advancing integrated care models, behavioral health access, and population health initiatives throughout the organization.
THIS POSITION OFFERS A 40-HOUR WORKWEEK, NO WEEKENDS, FULL BENEFITS PACKAGE, 12 PAID HOLIDAYS, BI-WEEKLY PAY
Essential Tasks
Strategic Leadership and Program Development
Provide leadership and direction for all Integrated Behavioral Health services across the organization including both short and long-term therapy for all mental health conditions including substance use disorder and tailored care management program activities and associated case management services. Identify and implement future areas for program development.
Develop and implement strategic plans, goals, and performance measures aligned with organizational priorities.
Identify opportunities to expand behavioral health services, improve access, and address community health needs.
Clinical and Operational Oversight
Oversee day-to-day operations of behavioral health services, including integrated behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, care coordination partnerships, and behavioral health support programs.
Ensure behavioral health services are accessible, efficient, and integrated within medical and dental workflows.
Establish and monitor clinical standards, workflows, and service delivery expectations.
Staff Leadership and Development
Recruit, supervise, mentor, and evaluate behavioral health staff and assists leaders with the recruitment, development, and mentoring of staff in the Integrated Behavioral Health Program.
Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement.
Conduct regular staff meetings and performance evaluations.
Quality Improvement and Outcomes Management
Monitor quality indicators related to behavioral health services.
Analyze clinical, operational, and patient outcome data to identify improvement opportunities.
Lead quality improvement initiatives designed to enhance patient care and organizational performance.
Support UDS reporting requirements and other federal, state, and grant reporting activities.
Grant Management
Complete and/or oversee the submission of reports as required by grant guidance. Complete and/or oversee the development and implementation of the deliverables associated with grant funds as well as the quality management plan and activities.
Direct and participate in the grant writing and submission of applications for continued program funding.
Tailored Care Management (TCM) Oversight
Provide administrative and operational oversight of the organization''s Tailored Care Management (TCM) activities and associated care management activities.
Ensure compliance with all North Carolina Medicaid Tailored Care Management requirements, contracts, policies, and performance expectations.
Collaborate with care managers, care coordinators, medical providers, behavioral health providers, and community partners to support integrated, person-centered care planning.

Base Pay Overview
The starting pay for this position is $85,280.00 annually. Please keep in mind that actual salary will vary based on various factors such as qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
