Position Summary: | Yeshiva University announces its new College of Dental Medicine and is hiring a new faculty and staff to support the school. The curriculum will integrate Digital Dentistry techniques to be taught by today’s dental thought leaders and master clinicians. The school plans to provide a unique 36-month dental education program through an innovative “Block” style curriculum, which will ensure in-depth learning and understanding. The Director of Integrated Systems is a full-time faculty member responsible for the design, coordination, and delivery of the integrated systems curriculum within the biomedical sciences at Yeshiva University College of Dental Medicine (YUCDM). Reflecting the College's commitment to a modern, systems-based approach to foundational science education, the Director ensures that the integrated systems courses are coherent, clinically relevant, and delivered as a unified educational experience rather than a series of isolated disciplinary lectures. |
Position Responsibilities: | The Director of Integrated Systems is a full-time faculty member responsible for the design, coordination, and delivery of the integrated systems curriculum within the biomedical sciences at Yeshiva University College of Dental Medicine (YUCDM). Reflecting the College's commitment to a modern, systems-based approach to foundational science education, the Director ensures that the integrated systems courses are coherent, clinically relevant, and delivered as a unified educational experience rather than a series of isolated disciplinary lectures. The Director serves in a dual capacity: as a classroom educator who lectures directly within the integrated systems sequence, and as an academic coordinator who recruits, supports, and aligns the course directors and contributing faculty who lead individual systems courses across the curriculum. The Director is the central point of accountability for how these courses are structured, sequenced, and taught. |
