Description

Location: In Person, Glendale CA

Compensation: $145,000 - $175,000 per year DOE

Employment Type: Full-Time

Our client, a growing and highly successful plaintiffs' litigation firm, is seeking an experienced Director Of Legal Operations to oversee and optimize its legal support operations. This leadership role is responsible for managing the firm's legal assistant and paralegal teams, driving operational excellence, and ensuring seamless support across a high-volume litigation practice.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the legal assistant and paralegal teams, ensuring efficient, high-quality support across all active litigation matters.

  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate legal assistants and paralegals, providing guidance on performance, workload distribution, and professional development.

  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to standardize legal support functions and case workflows firmwide.

  • Partner with attorneys to ensure legal support staff are properly staffed and aligned with case deadlines, court requirements, and discovery demands.

  • Monitor case management systems and legal support workflows to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of filings and discovery.

  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, technology use, and training within the legal support department.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Legal Operations Manager, Director of Legal Operations, or similar role.

  • Experience helping to grow and scale a plaintiff's litigation practice

  • Strong knowledge of legal operations, technology, and process improvement, preferably within wage-and-hour or class action litigation.

  • Experience with legal technology and case management software, such as Litify or similar industry-standard platforms.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Legal Studies, or a related field.
