This contingent position involves supporting logistics strategy development and execution aligned with USSOCOM objectives and contract requirements.
Responsibilities include overseeing daily logistics operations such as transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and field support, ensuring compliance with DoD, FAR/DFARS, and USSOCOM directives.
Collaborate with supply chain and program teams to optimize performance, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement and cost efficiency.
Assist in managing subcontractor performance, audit readiness, and government reporting, while mentoring logistics personnel and serving as a liaison with government stakeholders.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), 8+ years of logistics experience with DoD or federal contracts, strong understanding of military logistics, and experience with ERP systems.
Preferred certifications: CPL, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, and familiarity with DCMA protocols.
