Our client, a leading flooring manufacturer, is seeking a Director of Manufacturing to lead plant operations and drive operational excellence. This individual will oversee production, safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring manufacturing goals are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily manufacturing operations across the facility.
Drive improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.
Develop and mentor manufacturing leadership and production teams.
Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Quality to support operational goals.
Monitor key performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage staffing, budgets, and overall plant performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field preferred.
10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
Experience in flooring, building products, wood products, or other industrial manufacturing environments preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
