The company, specializing in precision aerospace manufacturing, is seeking a seasoned professional to oversee a facility dedicated to component repair and aftermarket production. Serving sectors such as automotive, aerospace, and medical device manufacturing, the location ensures that all output meets or surpasses OEM standards.

This role reports directly to the VP of Operations and is responsible for the entire production floor's efficacy, team leadership, and overarching operational strategy. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee comprehensive manufacturing operations with approximately five direct reports.
- Ensure full compliance with all pertinent regulatory certifications and industry benchmarks.
- Formulate and enforce operational strategies with yearly objectives focusing on financial, customer, procedural, and organizational targets.
- Monitor key performance indicators and production trends, ensuring the team meets established performance metrics.
- Enhance profitability and operational efficiency while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate across departments including quality assurance, engineering, and supply chain to avoid operational disruptions.
- Foster a culture committed to safety, reliability, and ongoing improvements.
- Assist in acquiring new business by maintaining high facility standards.

Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline is preferred; a decade of aerospace manufacturing experience is an alternative.
- A minimum of seven years’ experience in an operational leadership role within a precision or custom manufacturing setting.
- Expertise in aerospace manufacturing practices is mandatory.
- Proficiency in complex manufacturing and refurbishment procedures.
- Strong emotional intelligence, capable of leading successfully amidst ambiguities and maintaining floor-level trust.
- Proven experience in managing or growing operations in a high-expansion context.
- A collaborative approach with the ability to integrate strategic insight with practical application.
