Full-Time | Multi-Facility Position
We are seeking an energetic, relationship-focused Director of Marketing & Community Relations to represent three healthcare facilities operating under our newly partnered company. This individual will lead marketing and business-development efforts for one long-term care/skilled nursing facility and two facilities serving individuals with intellectual disabilities, mental health needs, and behavioral health needs.
The ideal candidate is a confident communicator who can build strong relationships, identify referral opportunities, and represent each facility with professionalism, compassion, and integrity. This position will work closely with facility leadership, admissions teams, healthcare providers, community organizations, families, and referral partners to increase awareness of our services and support appropriate census growth across all three locations.
Develop and implement a coordinated marketing strategy for all three facilities.
Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, case managers, social workers, behavioral health providers, managed-care organizations, community agencies, and other referral sources.
Promote the specialized services and strengths of each facility to the appropriate audiences.
Identify new referral opportunities and develop strategies to support census and occupancy goals.
Conduct regular visits and outreach to referral partners throughout the service area.
Respond promptly and professionally to referral inquiries and help connect prospective residents, clients, and families with the appropriate facility team.
Collaborate with administrators, admissions personnel, clinical leadership, and other department heads.
Plan and participate in community events, networking opportunities, facility tours, open houses, health fairs, and educational programs.
Assist with social media, recruitment marketing, promotional materials, press releases, and community announcements.
Ensure that marketing materials and communications are accurate, professional, respectful, and consistent with the company’s mission and brand.
Track referrals, outreach activities, conversion rates, market trends, and competitors.
Prepare regular reports regarding marketing activity, referral development, and progress toward census goals.
Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA, regulatory, and ethical requirements.
Travel routinely among the three facilities and throughout the surrounding communities.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Previous experience in healthcare marketing, admissions, business development, community relations, or a related field is strongly preferred.
Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, behavioral health, mental health services, intellectual and developmental disability services, or residential healthcare is highly desirable.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, healthcare administration, social services, or a related field is preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.
Strong interpersonal, networking, presentation, and written communication skills.
Ability to understand and effectively communicate the different services and admission criteria of all three facilities.
Self-motivated, organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and build productive relationships across different healthcare settings.
Proficiency with social media, email, Microsoft Office, and basic marketing tools.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel regularly are required.
Occasional evening or weekend availability may be necessary for community events.
The opportunity to help shape the identity and growth of a newly partnered healthcare organization.
A meaningful role representing three facilities that provide essential services within their communities.
Supportive collaboration with facility administrators and leadership.
Competitive compensation based on education and experience.
Benefits for eligible full-time employees.
Opportunities for professional growth and increased leadership responsibility.
