The Director of Marketing is a senior leader responsible for driving brand performance, guest engagement, and profitable growth through integrated marketing strategies in a regulated gaming and hospitality environment. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, overseeing promotions, advertising, database marketing, player development, and guest communications. The Director of Marketing serves as a trusted partner to the General Manager and department leaders, ensuring marketing initiatives are aligned with business objectives, operational execution, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute short- and long-term marketing strategies to increase market share, visitation, and profitability.
• Lead all branding, advertising, promotions, public relations, and guest engagement initiatives.
• Own the annual marketing plan, promotional calendar, budget, and performance metrics.
• Oversee promotional planning, execution, and post-event performance analysis to maximize ROI.
• Support player development and casino host programs through data-driven marketing strategies.
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, Hotel, Food & Beverage, Table Games, and other departments to deliver cohesive guest experiences.
• Lead, develop, and hold accountable a high-performing marketing team.
• Evaluate and implement marketing technologies and platforms to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and real-time reporting.
• Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and internal control requirements.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field, or equivalent gaming industry experience.
• 10+ years of experience in the gaming industry, with at least 5 years in marketing leadership.
• Proven success driving measurable results through promotions, database marketing, and guest engagement strategies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate ROI and interpret complex performance data.
• Demonstrated leadership ability with experience managing and developing marketing teams.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Deep understanding of regulatory requirements within a gaming environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and maintain visibility during major promotions.
• Eligible for WA Class III gaming license.
Salary
$150k - $180k base salary per annum. Performance based bonuses, correlated to revenue optimization. We reward people for driving profitable growth.
