We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsYou will assume 24-hour responsibility for assigned patient care areas and promote professional practice, and coordinate patient care activities in areas of administration, clinical, and human resourcesThis position requires an advanced level of management expertise as demonstrated through leadership, departmental functioning and educational preparationYou will encourage and consistently reinforce staff compliance with organizational policies, safety regulations, infection control procedures, ethics and compliance, risk management activities, standard precautions and proper body mechanicsYou will identify and take responsible steps to ensure compliance with all licensure, certification, accreditation and legislation that regulates and impacts the operations of the department and staffYou will meet productivity standards and operate within departmental budget guidelinesWhat qualifications you will need:Graduate from an accredited school of nursing requiredBSN required, MSN preferredValid California RN license requiredCurrent CPR Course C required; national RN Certification preferredMinimum 5 years recent experience in acute care/ management preferredFounded in 1901, Riverside Community Hospital is a 542-bed full-service acute care hospital.
