Job Opportunity: Marketing Director

Position Title: Director of Member Experience, Growth and Marketing

Position Summary

We are seeking an innovative, strategic, and community-focused Director of Member Experience, Growth and Marketing to lead the development and execution of our marketing and business development initiatives. This individual will play a key role in increasing brand awareness, growing membership, strengthening member relationships, and expanding our presence throughout the communities we serve.

The ideal candidate is a creative thinker, an exceptional communicator, and a proven marketing professional who can develop impactful campaigns while building meaningful partnerships and representing the credit union at community events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that support the credit union's mission, goals, and business objectives.
  • Lead business development initiatives to attract new members and grow existing relationships.
  • Create, implement, and evaluate marketing campaigns that increase membership growth, product awareness, and community engagement.
  • Develop and manage member retention and outreach programs designed to strengthen long-term member relationships.
  • Plan and coordinate member education seminars, financial wellness workshops, and informational meetings.
  • Create engaging content for social media platforms, email marketing, digital advertising, print materials, and other communication channels.
  • Represent the credit union at community events, networking opportunities, sponsorships, and local organizations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, businesses, schools, and nonprofit organizations.
  • Lead internal and external meetings, present marketing initiatives, and provide regular updates on campaign performance and strategic objectives.
  • Monitor marketing trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to enhance the credit union's market position.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify new products, services, and promotional opportunities that align with member needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive marketing experience, with leadership responsibilities preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in business development, strategic marketing, branding, and community engagement.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to lead meetings, manage multiple priorities, and work collaboratively across departments.
  • Experience in financial services or the credit union industry is preferred but not required.
