Position Summary
Stratus Clean is seeking an entrepreneurial and results-driven Director of National
Accounts & Acquisitions to lead strategic growth across our national franchise
network.
This role will focus on three primary growth opportunities:
1. National Customer Accounts – Develop direct and partner-driven relationships
with franchise brands, multi-location corporations, property management firms,
and facility management organizations.
2. Existing Customer Expansion – Leverage Stratus Clean's existing customer
base to expand relationships into additional locations, markets, and territories.
3. Strategic Acquisitions – Identify independent commercial cleaning businesses
that can be acquired by existing Stratus Clean territories to accelerate growth.
The Director will have direct responsibility for the department P&L, pipeline
management, budgeting, and accurate sales and acquisition forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
National Accounts
Develop and execute a national and multi-market account growth strategy.
Prospect, develop, and close relationships with franchise brands and large multi-
location organizations such as retailers, restaurants, financial institutions,
healthcare organizations, and other commercial customers.
Build direct relationships with corporate facilities, procurement, operations, and
real estate decision-makers.
Develop opportunities through property and facility management partners such
as JLL, CBRE, and similar organizations.
Lead RFPs, proposals, presentations, pricing, and contract negotiations.
Coordinate with Stratus Clean territories to successfully launch and retain
national business.
Build and maintain a strong, qualified pipeline of national account opportunities.
Existing Customer Expansion
Analyze Stratus Cleans existing customer base to identify customers with larger
regional or national footprints.
Identify independent opportunities where Stratus Clean currently services only a
portion of a customer's locations.
Work with local territories to convert successful local relationships into regional
and national opportunities.
Develop account expansion strategies and track incremental revenue generated
from existing customers.
Strategic Acquisitions
Identify independent commercial cleaning businesses that may be available for
acquisition.
Build relationships with business owners, brokers, advisors, and other acquisition
sources.
Maintain a pipeline of qualified acquisition targets within existing Stratus Clean
territories.
Evaluate targets based on revenue, profitability, customer retention,
concentration, valuation, and strategic fit.
Partner with Stratus Clean Master Franchisees to evaluate and pursue
appropriate acquisitions.
Support transaction analysis, negotiation, due diligence, closing, and transition
planning.
P&L Forecasting Responsibility
Own the National Accounts & Acquisitions department P&;L and annual operating
plan.
Establish and manage revenue, profitability, and acquisition targets.
Maintain accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.
Track performance against budget and communicate pipeline through the CRM
(HubSpot)
Accurately forecast growth on each of three growth channels
