OVERVIEW
The Director of National Accounts & Builder Development is responsible for developing and executing strategic growth initiatives across key national and regional accounts within the residential construction market. This role will focus on expanding Evolution Steel Framing's presence with national and regional homebuilders, multifamily developers, architects, lumber and building material dealers, and other strategic channel partners while driving profitable revenue growth and market share expansion.
Working closely with sales, operations, product development, finance, customer service, and supply chain teams, the Director will lead the development and execution of national account strategies, secure and manage commercial agreements, influence design specifications, optimize product offerings, and ensure successful program implementation across multiple markets. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to executive-level stakeholders while identifying new business opportunities and fostering long-term strategic partnerships.
The ideal candidate is a proven business development and national accounts leader with deep experience within the building products, construction, or related industries. They possess a strong understanding of builder and channel sales strategies, specification development, distribution networks, and account management, along with the ability to effectively navigate complex organizations and drive cross-functional execution.
This position will be based out of a home office or our office in Garland, TX and require regular travel.

This is a field-based outside sales role operating out of a home office. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. Regular travel to customer, project, or operating sites is required, which may involve exposure to varying environmental conditions and may require the use of required personal protective equipment, including but not limited to steel toe shoes, hearing protection, and other site-specific safety gear.
