Director of Network Planning

Piper Companies is seeking a Director of Network Planning to support a leading client in the data center and telecommunications industry. The Director of Network Planning role is a fully remote, full-time opportunity. The Director of Network Planning role is ideal for a strategic leader with deep expertise in network infrastructure, automation, and AI-driven optimization, combined with strong management and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities of the Director of Network Planning include:

• Oversee the development and long-term strategy for global network planning across data center and telecom environments, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Leverage AI-driven insights and advanced analytics to enhance network performance, forecasting, and capacity planning initiatives.
• Guide automation efforts to streamline network planning workflows, reduce manual intervention, and improve operational execution.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, engineering teams, and cross-functional partners to align network strategy with business objectives.
• Build and present executive-level dashboards and reporting to track KPIs, performance metrics, and strategic outcomes.

Requirements of the Director of Network Planning include:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• Experience in network planning, with a focus on data center or telecommunications environments.
• Prior experience operating at the Director level with demonstrated success leading and mentoring technical teams.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools and AI-driven solutions in network infrastructure or planning.
• Strong ability to create high-level dashboards and communicate complex data insights to executive stakeholders.

Compensation for the Director of Network Planning include:

• $210,000 - 240,000 annually
• Full Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, PTO, Paid Holiday and Sick Leave if Required by Law.
