    Description

    Schedules:

    • Salary/Exempt Position; M-F; 8:30 am to 5:00 pm plus On Call 

    Compensation:

    • $115,000 to 125,000 /Annually + Benefits (Vision, Medical, Dental, Paid Time Off)

     

    Responsibilities


    The Director of Nursing is responsible for overseeing all nursing operations and ensuring the delivery of safe, compassionate, and high-quality care. This role provides an opportunity to use both clinical expertise and leadership skills to make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives while guiding a team of dedicated professionals.

    • Lead and inspire the nursing staff, fostering a supportive and collaborative team environment

    • Oversee all aspects of patient care, including medication management, assessments, documentation, and quality standards

    • Manage and maintain nursing schedules, ensuring effective coverage and strong PRN depth

    • Provide mentorship, training, and ongoing professional development for nursing staff

    • Oversee the Intake Team to ensure patients have a smooth and supportive admission process

    • Implement and manage infection control systems, risk management protocols, and incident reporting procedures

    • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other team members to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care

    • Serve as a role model by demonstrating strong nursing skills and stepping in to provide direct care when needed

    • Take on leadership responsibilities as “Manager on Call” and support seamless facility operations

    • Identify and implement improvements that enhance patient experience and operational efficiency

    Qualifications

    • Active RN license in the state of practice

    • BSN required; MSN or higher preferred

    • 3+ years of nursing leadership or management experience, preferably in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or related healthcare setting

    • Strong clinical knowledge with proven ability to lead, coach, and develop nursing teams

    • Familiarity with regulatory standards, including Joint Commission, infection control, and risk management

    • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

    • Authorization to work in the U.S. required
