Responsibilities

• Lead and manage nursing operations to ensure patient care standards are met.

• Ensure regulatory compliance and uphold patient safety standards.

• Develop and execute staffing plans to maintain adequate nurse coverage.

• Monitor quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Develop and mentor nursing staff to support career growth and development.

• Build and maintain a high-visibility performance dashboard for stakeholders.

• Coordinate with physicians and care teams to optimize patient outcomes.

• Drive adoption of evidence-based practices and clinical protocols.

• Create and manage the nursing department budget and resource allocation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.

• Lead recruitment and onboarding for nursing leadership and frontline roles.

Experience/Qualifications

• Nurse executive leadership of nursing operations and patient care standards.

• Active licensure as a registered nurse with valid state privileges.

• Regulatory compliance mastery (CMS, JCAHO, state boards) and patient safety.

• Quality metrics oversight and continuous improvement with dashboards.

• Strategic staffing plans to ensure adequate nurse coverage and favorable ratios.

• Budget management for nursing department and resource allocation.

• Mentorship and development of nursing staff and leaders.

• Experience implementing evidence-based practices and clinical protocols.

• Recruitment and onboarding oversight for nursing leadership and frontline roles.

• Cross-functional collaboration with physicians and care teams.

• Contract role readiness: on-site presence, reporting, and high-visibility work.
