Position Overview
Cancer & Hematology Centers (CHC) is seeking an experienced nursing leader to serve as Director of Nursing & Integrated Services. This is a Michigan-based, office-structured position requiring regular travel across all CHC locations, including Grand Rapids, Flint, Muskegon, Lansing, Holland, and Big Rapids.
The Director provides strategic, operational, and clinical leadership across nursing and multidisciplinary specialty service lines, including infusion services, triage, patient navigation, radiation oncology, and urology. This role is accountable for clinical performance, quality outcomes, care delivery standards, and patient experience across these services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, regulatory standards, and evidence-based practice.
Michigan-Based | Office-Structured with Regular Travel to All CHC Sites
Driving excellence in nursing practice and specialty care through integrated service line leadership, performance optimization, and patient-centered innovation.
Provide leadership and oversight for nursing practice across infusion, triage, and navigation services
Establish and sustain evidence-based clinical standards, policies, and procedures
Oversee clinical operations and performance for radiation oncology and collaborate on clinical guidelines for urology services
Partner with physician leaders to align clinical protocols, workflows, and care pathways
Drive data-driven performance improvement initiatives across access, throughput, quality, safety, and patient experience
Direct patient navigation programs to improve care coordination, access, and engagement
Oversee staffing models, budgets, and resource allocation across all service areas
Travel in person to all CHC locations to ensure visible leadership presence, relationship-building, and successful implementation of organizational priorities
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
5–7+ years of progressive leadership experience in nursing and/or clinical operations
Experience managing complex clinical programs or specialty service lines
Experience in Oncology required
Experience in infusion services, radiation oncology, or urology preferred
Demonstrated success in clinical performance improvement; knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g., ASCO QOPI, CMS) preferred
This is an office-structured position based in Michigan, with regular travel required to all CHC sites across the network to support leadership visibility, staff engagement, and successful program implementation. Candidates should expect a hybrid rhythm of office-based strategic work paired with consistent on-site presence across CHC locations.
CHC may be able to provide relocation assistance for qualified candidates relocating to for this role. Relocation support will be discussed and determined on a case-by-case basis during the interview and offer process.
