Your Impact
As Director of Nursing for Labor & Delivery, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure safe, high-quality patient care while supporting and developing your team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire nursing staff to deliver exceptional patient care
- Oversee daily operations, staffing, and performance within the department
- Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and Joint Commission standards
- Manage departmental budgets and resource allocation effectively
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to drive quality improvement initiatives
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
What You Bring
- Active RN license (California)
- Current CPR certification
- 5+ years of RN experience, including
- 2+ years in a leadership role (Manager or Director level preferred)
- Strong clinical, operational, and leadership skills
- Proven ability to build teams and drive results
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role involves a dynamic clinical setting, including:
- Direct interaction with patients in a variety of conditions
- Exposure to infectious diseases and emergency situations
