We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team and ensure the highest standards of care.

Position Summary:

The Director of Nursing is responsible for overseeing all aspects of nursing care within the facility, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and maintaining a focus on person-centered care. This leadership role requires a proactive and strategic thinker who can lead, develop, and support the nursing team while fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the facility.

  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including infection control, documentation, and quality assurance.

  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures.

  • Recruit, train, and supervise nursing staff; foster a positive, team-oriented environment.

  • Monitor staffing levels and acuity to ensure appropriate coverage.

  • Coordinate and participate in care planning with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.

  • Lead and support quality improvement initiatives and audits.

  • Act as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, families, and other departments.

  • Manage budgets related to clinical operations and supplies.

Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license in the state of California.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.

  • Prior experience as a Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, survey readiness, and MDS processes.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
