Director of OB/GYN –$225, 000–$240, 000/yr | Queens, NY
Not-for-Profit Family Health Center is seeking a Director of OB/GYN to lead clinical operations and program development for a comprehensive women’s health service line. This leadership role combines direct patient care with oversight of quality, safety, access, and provider performance to enhance outcomes and expand services in a community-focused setting.
Job Responsibilities

• 
  Lead the OB/GYN service line, including prenatal care, obstetrics, gynecology, family planning, and preventive care
  
• 
  Provide direct patient care while ensuring high-quality clinical outcomes
  
• 
  Supervise and mentor a team of three providers
  
• 
  Coordinate multidisciplinary care and drive service expansion initiatives
  
• 
  Oversee quality metrics, peer review, and continuous improvement processes
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards
  
• 
  Recruit, onboard, and evaluate OB/GYN providers
  
• 
  Collaborate on staffing models and workflow optimization
  
• 
  Support maternal health initiatives, community education, and outreach programs
  
• 
  Contribute to program development, grants, and service line innovation
  

Job Requirements

• 
  MD from an accredited medical school
  
• 
  Board Certification in OB/GYN
  
• 
  Active New York State medical license
  
• 
  Minimum 5 years of clinical OB/GYN experience
  
• 
  At least 2 years of leadership or administrative experience
  
• 
  Strong commitment to quality improvement and community health
  
• 
  Experience in program development and multidisciplinary collaboration preferred
