Job Description
The Director of Operations will report into the Vice President and be responsible for:
- Provide strategic leadership for global manufacturing operations, procurement, and supply chain management.
- Develop and execute long-term operational strategies that support business growth and profitability goals.
- Establish manufacturing objectives and performance measures aligned with corporate strategic initiatives.
- Lead operational optimization efforts with a strong focus on simplification, efficiency, and scalability.
- Build and implement systems that drive operational excellence and sustainable business performance.
- Improve on-time delivery performance, reduce backlogs, and increase overall productivity.
- Partner closely with Sales, Engineering, HR, and Marketing leadership to drive cross-functional alignment and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote global best practice sharing and establish advanced operational standards across facilities.
- Drive innovation through the implementation of new technologies and manufacturing advancements.
- Lead and coordinate global operations projects and transformation initiatives.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline; advanced education is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive operations leadership experience within industrial manufacturing environments.
- Experience leading complex manufacturing operations, supply chain, and procurement organizations.
- Demonstrated success implementing lean, simplification, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong strategic planning, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership capabilities.
- Proven ability to influence across global organizations and drive change effectively.
- Bilingual capabilities are considered an advantage.
