Job Description
Director of Operations
The Director of Operations will report to the President and be responsible for:
- Lead day-to-day operations across manufacturing, purchasing, inventory, and related operational functions.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that improve efficiency, throughput, quality, and profitability.
- Establish and monitor key performance metrics, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Partner with engineering, customer service, and other business units to improve workflow and organizational effectiveness.
- Oversee departmental leadership teams, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
- Drive initiatives focused on reducing lead times, increasing manufacturing throughput, and improving customer satisfaction.
- Manage operational budgets, forecasting, and cost controls to support business objectives.
- Champion a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and driving operational improvements.
- Strong background in manufacturing operations, supply chain, purchasing, and inventory management.
- Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
- Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to align operational execution with broader business and financial objectives.
