Shift Schedule: Full-time, on-site leadership position overseeing 24/7 operations across three behavioral health programs
How Many Shifts Needed Per Month: This is a full-time program leadership position supporting 24/7 operations.
Credentialing / Onboarding Time: 6 8 weeks (estimated).
License: Active California professional license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC or RN) preferred, but not mandatory. No specific professional license is required for all candidates; applicable California facility licensing experience is mandatory.
Certifications: No specific professional certifications mandated. Knowledge of DHCS licensing, Drug Medi-Cal (DMC-ODS) certification requirements, documentation standards and ASAM Criteria required. Clear fingerprint background check and no state or federal healthcare exclusions required.
Education: Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), Public Health (MPH), Healthcare Administration (MHA) or Business Administration (MBA) preferred.
Experience Needed: Minimum 3 years managing a California DHCS-licensed residential treatment program with full operational and budget responsibility as an Administrator, Program Director, Director of Operations or equivalent.
Special Skills Needed:
Strong knowledge of DHCS licensing, DMC-ODS certification, documentation and ASAM Criteria.
Experience managing multidisciplinary clinical and support teams in 24/7 residential settings.
Government contract administration, budgeting, compliance and financial reporting.
Experience with facility start-up, licensing and LPS-designated programs preferred.
Familiarity with SmartCare EHR, CalOMS and DATAR reporting preferred.
Experience with MHRCs, psychiatric health facilities, crisis stabilization units or sobering centers preferred.
Established relationships within Napa, Solano, Sonoma or Bay Area behavioral health networks preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Responsibilities:
Direct overall operations of a 70-bed Behavioral Health Treatment Center comprising three 24/7 programs.
Lead facility start-up, DHCS residential licensing with detox authorization, Drug Medi-Cal certification, MHRC licensing and support the County's LPS designation request.
Recruit, train and supervise approximately 75 80 employees through three program leaders and shared services.
Maintain continuous staffing coverage, including an RN on every Sobering Center shift.
Manage an annual operating budget of up to $10 million, County invoicing and required reporting.
Oversee SmartCare, CalOMS and DATAR documentation and reporting compliance.
Serve as the primary County contact and ensure required incident reporting within 24 hours.
Report directly to Prime Physicians executive leadership and maintain operational, clinical and regulatory compliance.
