Operations Leadership OpportunityInvestment bank and capital markets businessJob DescriptionOperations LeadershipProvide executive oversight of securities operations functions across the trade lifecycle.Lead teams responsible for trade capture, settlements, clearing, client onboarding, KYC, and related operational activities.Support both equity and fixed income businesses.Drive operational excellence across middle-office and back-office functions.Partner with Treasury, Finance, Technology, Risk, and Compliance teams to support business growth.Business Controls & GovernanceOversee business control activities supporting Banking and Markets businesses.Strengthen supervisory frameworks, surveillance processes, and reporting protocols.Identify control gaps and execute remediation plans.Support regulatory examinations, audits, and governance initiatives.Operational Resilience & TransformationAssess current operating models and identify opportunities for improvement.Lead modernization, automation, and process enhancement initiatives.Improve scalability, efficiency, and risk management capabilities.Establish metrics and reporting frameworks to measure operational effectiveness.Executive PartnershipAct as a strategic advisor to the Chief Operating Officer and senior leadership team.Prepare and deliver presentations to executive stakeholders.Influence decision-making across multiple business and infrastructure functions.Represent operations and controls functions in key governance forums.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful Applicant15+ years of experience within capital markets, broker-dealer operations, or securities infrastructure environments.Deep understanding of trade lifecycle management across equities and fixed income products.Experience overseeing trade capture, settlements, clearing, client onboarding, KYC, and middle-office operations.Strong knowledge of operational risk, controls, regulatory requirements, and governance practices.Demonstrated success leading large, experienced teams through managers.Proven experience driving operational transformation and process improvement initiatives.Strong executive presence with the ability to engage senior management and regulators.Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.What's on OfferCompetitive salary ranging from $200,000 to $250,000.Hybrid
