We are seeking a highly dynamic, experienced, and hands‑on Director of Operations (RN) to oversee agency operations while actively supporting clinical excellence and patient care in the field. This role is ideal for a confident, strategic leader who understands both the clinical and operational sides of home‑based care - and who is willing to roll up their sleeves whenever needed.
This is not a desk‑only leadership role. The Director of Operations must be ready to provide patient care when needed, support their nurses in the field in real time, and ensure that all operational systems run smoothly across the agency.
Why This Role Matters
As the Director of Operations, you will be the operational and clinical backbone of the organization - the person who ensures the agency runs efficiently, patients receive safe, high‑quality care, and staff feel supported, empowered, and aligned.
This role is also a succession‑track leadership position. The individual who excels here will be positioned to assume full executive responsibility for the agency. As the role grows, profit-sharing and equity (ownership) opportunities may become available.
You'll Thrive Here If You Are
- A hands‑on operator who is willing to jump into patient care or field support whenever needed
- A strategic thinker who can manage systems, processes, and people with clarity and accountability
- Clinically strong, with the confidence to support nurses in complex care situations
- A natural mentor, able to delegate, coach, guide, and elevate both clinical and administrative staff
- Calm under pressure, especially during after‑hours calls, staffing challenges, or urgent needs

- Compassionate, with a genuine commitment to patient dignity and safety

- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals
