This role oversees all aspects of warehouse and distribution operations leading leaders and teams to achieve best-in-class service, safety, and efficiency. Job Description:

What Youll Do

As the Director of Operations, youll oversee all aspects of warehouse and delivery operations from receiving and inventory management to order fulfillment, distribution, and delivery. Youll lead and develop a team of managers, supervisors, leads, clerks, and warehouse associates to achieve operational excellence and deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day and night warehouse teams to achieve safety, accuracy, and productivity goals.
  • Lead the delivery team on safety, efficiencies, and overall performance goals
  • Foster a positive, high-performance culture built on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, replenishment, and outbound shipping.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other applicable regulations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and use data to drive decisions and process improvements.
  • Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse ensuring equipment, layout, and safety standards support efficient operations.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members, creating clear expectations and providing ongoing coaching and feedback.
  • Partner with other departments (Sales, Delivery, and HR) to align operational goals and support company initiatives.

What Were Looking For

  • 10+ years of warehouse and distribution management experience leading multi-shift teams.
  • Proven ability to coach, develop, and motivate diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills comfortable using data to drive performance.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and MS Office Suite
  • NetSuite experience (preferred)
  • Understanding of OSHA and DOT regulations.
  • Flexibility to support both day and night operations as needed.
