Role Description The Director of Operations is a fulltime, onsite role based in Wellington, FL, responsible for overseeing daytoday construction and business operations. This role coordinates project schedules, resources, and workflows to ensure jobs are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards and client expectations. The Operations Manager monitors budgets and timelines, reviews progress reports, and addresses operational issues as they arise. They collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and office staff to optimize processes, improve communication, and maintain compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. The role also involves supporting hiring, training, performance feedback, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Qualifications 7-10 years in a construction leadership position, including scheduling, resource planning, and workflow coordination. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, monitor budgets, and meet deadlines. Extensive knowledge of the construction building processes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements of state and local building regulations. Proficiency with office and project management software (e.g., spreadsheets, scheduling tools, collaboration platforms). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, subcontractors and suppliers. Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team guidance, mentoring staff, and performance management. Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills, with attention to detail and a focus on quality, efficiency and profitability. Ability to work onsite in Wellington, FL, with a consistent presence across office and field locations.
