POSITION: Director of Outpatient Clinical Services
STATUS: Full Time; 37.5 hours / week
SCHEDULE:9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Monday through Friday
LOCATION: Wilkinsburg
Milestone Centers, a subsidiary of Partners For Quality Inc., is a nonprofit, community-based human services agency supporting individuals with behavioral health challenges and intellectual & developmental disabilities in communities throughout Western Pennsylvania. Milestone Centers has earned certification from the Sanctuary Institute for providing trauma-informed care.
Responsibilities:The Director of Outpatient Clinical Services is responsible for overseeing all the daily clinical operations, providing supervision, and support to a team of therapists, counselors, and support staff in an outpatient behavioral health setting and Peer Support Program. The position requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for providing high quality care to individuals struggling with behavioral health issues. This position is responsible for the oversight of the day-to-day operations at the Webb, Penn Center, and satellite locations for the Outpatient Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder departments. This position also provides outpatient treatment to a limited caseload of Outpatient clients.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines
- Manage daily operations of the outpatient unit, including productivity, case assignment, staff selection, training and evaluation, medical record monitoring and coverage.
- Provide clinical supervision to multidisciplinary staff.
- Provide clinical supervision to a team of therapists and counselors, including individual and group supervision sessions.
- Development or implementation of the policies and procedures for the operation of the Clinic(s).
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and support to staff members.
- Assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans for clients, ensuring they are evidence-based and culturally competent.
- Oversee the daily operation of Peer Support Services.
- Facilitate and document monthly team meetings and group supervisions.
- Conduct required supervisions with Peer Support Staff and Supervisor.
- Creates an annual training plan for the Peer Support Program.
- Responsible for the auditing of record content and documentation of services to ensure compliance with state regulations for the Peer Support Program.
- Oversee documentation and record-keeping practices of peer staff.
- Prepare reports on program performance and client engagement.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:- Master’s degree in a human service field
- Three (3) years of supervisory experience
- One of the following Pennsylvania licenses strongly preferred:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Act 33 and Act 34 clearances and FBI background check
- Valid PA Driver’s license

We are a non-profit organization, accredited by the Council on Quality & Leadership. Citizen Care has locations throughout the West Hills and South Hills of Allegheny County.
Exceptional Adventures has more than 40 years of experience providing vacation opportunities, social events and monthly dances for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our recreational and travel programs are designed to support guests in a wide variety of activities. Organized trips include motor coach, flight, train and cruise packages which are offered year-round.
Milestone Centers supports individuals with behavioral health challenges and intellectual & developmental disabilities in communities throughout Western Pennsylvania. Our Agency oversees 20 residential settings, two outpatient offices, three adult training facilities, a prevocational enterprise program, a consumer drop-in center, habilitation services, and two Health Care Quality Units in Butler and Warren, which train professionals in 18 counties. Milestone Centers has earned certification from the Sanctuary Institute for providing trauma-informed care.
The Partners For Quality Foundation conducts fundraising for all organizational services and supports. Partners For Quality Inc. receives operating funds through various sources, private gifts, grants and special events helping the agency go “above and beyond” basic needs. The Foundation’s goal is to build and strengthen PFQ’s support resources to supplement government dollars.
