Are you a skilled clinician who enjoys mentoring others and strengthening care?
PTWMSI seeks a full-time Clinical Administrator for our Free Standing Mental Health Clinic (FSMHC), supervising 7–9 clinicians and averaging 23 completed clinical sessions weekly with approximately 15 active clients.
Session frequency must reflect clinical need. Caseload and productivity will be reviewed to protect time for supervision and administration.

What You'll Do
• You will serve as Clinical Administrator under DC DBH Chapter 30, overseeing clinic affairs while preserving responsibilities reserved to the psychiatrist
• You would supervise 7–9 clinicians through required individual supervision, case consultation, coaching, and documented feedback
• Provide evidence-based assessments, treatment planning, and psychotherapy; complete timely documentation and care coordination
• Review notes and treatment records for clinical quality, medical necessity, and applicable requirements; provide appropriate co-signatures and follow up on corrections
• Support risk assessment, safety planning, and high-risk consultation, coordinating escalation and backup coverage during sessions and absences
• Monitor documentation, access, service quality, productivity, and outcomes
• Support hiring, onboarding, staff development, evaluations, and corrective coaching
• Coordinate clinic workflows, policies, grievances, audits, reporting, and certification readiness with the psychiatrist, leadership, HR, Quality Assurance, and billing


Averages account for leave and holidays; cancellations are reviewed separately. Workload will be reassessed to support safe care.


Required Qualifications
• Active independent DC clinical license qualifying the individual as a Chapter 30 Clinical Administrator
• Appropriate qualifications for assigned supervision; DC LICSW required to clinically supervise LGSWs providing psychotherapy
• Master's degree or higher in a relevant clinical field, consistent with licensure requirements
• At least three years of behavioral health experience, including direct treatment
• Demonstrated clinical supervision and program operations experience
• Strong clinical judgment, documentation, communication, organization, initiative, and follow-through
• Ability to provide direct, supportive feedback and address performance concerns


Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with FSMHC operations and DC DBH Chapter 30
• Experience supervising graduate-level clinicians
• Experience with Medicaid documentation, quality improvement, and accreditation
• Experience serving children, adolescents, adults, and families
