How you'll make an impact in this role:
  • Champion a Culture of Safety: Lead the design and implementation of proactive systems and policies that empower every staff member to identify and mitigate risks before they reach the patient.

  • Transform Data into Action: Analyze complex trends—from "near misses" to patient feedback—to uncover root causes and implement sustainable improvements that elevate our standard of care.

  • Mentor and Educate Teams: Serve as a subject matter expert for leadership and clinical staff, translating complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable strategies that improve departmental workflows.

  • Drive Quality Excellence: Collaborate with legal and regulatory partners to navigate adverse events with transparency and integrity, ensuring our organization remains a benchmark for safety in the healthcare community.

  • Lead Innovation in Care: Stay at the forefront of healthcare safety by integrating global best practices and evolving regulatory standards into our daily clinical operations.

What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Quality Professional preferred.
  • Risk Management preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
What additional requirements you'll need:
  • Significant experience with CERT and RCA process
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of CMS CoPs
  • HRO experience
  • RN License and advanced healthcare degree required 
  • CPHQ or CPSP preferred
  • Progressive leadership experience required
