Director of Payroll - Flagship

Payroll Director. Director of Payroll. NextStep Recruiting is working with a growing Services Organization in the N. Ft. Worth, TX area that is looking to hire an experienced Sr. Payroll Manager or Payroll Director to their team. This is a dynamic, interesting role handling payroll for 5,000+ employees nationwide, including exempt and non-exempt payroll. Candidates should have:

• 7+ years of progressive, large corporation payroll experience, including 3+ years in management or director roles
• Bachelor's degree preferred; certifications such as CPP a plus
• Strong ERP experience such as Workday, NetSuite, etc. required
• Experience handling multi-unit, multi-state, high-volume hourly payroll in a hospitality, construction, retail, services, or restaurant type of industry is a big plus
• Experience with union payroll and California payroll is a big plus
• Experience improving processes and procedures

Our client is looking to identify and hire their person by the end of August or beginning of September, 2026, so this is an urgent search. The salary range can be negotiated, with a preferred target range of $135k - $155k base salary plus 20% annual bonus potential based on individual and company performance. This role is four days onsite and one day remote per week in the N. Ft. Worth area, so a commute to N. Ft. Worth must be ok. Please apply to learn more!
