Position Summary The Director of People & Culture is responsible for leading the company's human resources strategy and daily HR operations while fostering a positive, engaging, and high-performing workplace culture. This role oversees the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, training, and organizational development. The Director of People & Culture partners with leadership to attract, develop, and retain top talent while ensuring HR processes support the company's long-term growth and values.

Qualifications
5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
Experience managing full-cycle recruiting and employee onboarding.
Working knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, and best practices.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR technology platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
Experience in the construction, skilled trades, manufacturing, or service industries.
Experience managing apprenticeship or workforce development programs.
Experience leading culture, engagement, and employee development initiatives.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.
Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
Ability to travel locally for recruiting events, career fairs, and company meetings as needed.
This position plays a critical leadership role in shaping the employee experience while ensuring Human Resources practices align with the company's mission, values, and long-term strategic objectives.
