As a Director of Pharmacy for TaraVista in Devens, Massachusetts, you’ll bring your experience and knowledge where your voice matters. The Director of Pharmacy is an integral part of our multidisciplinary treatment team. You will provide direct care and support not only to our patients but also their families and make decisions that impact the lives of your peers, your patients, and your community. As a Director of Pharmacy:
You are responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and clinical services of the Pharmacy Department.
You will practice as an active staff Pharmacist within an inpatient psychiatric facility.
You will lead and coordinate pharmacy regulatory compliance.
You represent pharmacy on hospital regulatory compliance committees and efforts.
You will Evaluate and ensure compliance of organizational policies with applicable state and federal laws, rules, and regulations, including but not limited to those of The Joint Commission (TJC) and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
You will coordinate and participate in audits as required by regulatory bodies.
You coordinate creation and updates of Department of Pharmacy policies & procedures.
You will precept, supervise and support pharmacy staff.
You are responsible for all operational and financial aspects of an inpatient pharmacy department providing care to a patient population with diverse psychiatric and medical needs.

Successful Director of Pharmacy candidates will have the following:
Pharm.D. degree
Five years-experience in a hospital pharmacy setting
Active pharmacist license in the state of Massachusetts
Leadership and management experience
Great communication skills
Pay Range
Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience.
$130,000 - $155,000
