How you'll make an impact in this role:
Lead strategic revenue cycle operations by designing and implementing progressive policies that maximize financial health and streamline clinical billing workflows.
Drive data-driven decision-making through advanced analytics and predictive forecasting, transforming complex metrics into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.
Provide strategic direction across the revenue cycle continuum (i.e. patient registration, coding, billing, denials management, and collections) with accountability for medical group KPI performance including net collection rate, days in A/R, denial rates, etc.
Champion operational excellence by auditing current processes, identifying performance gaps, and building proactive remediation plans to harmonize workflows across the organization.
Serve as a subject matter expert for all revenue cycle functions and provide ongoing support to medical group practices via training and process implementation
Education:
Proven, hands-on experience navigating and managing the Athena electronic health record (EHR) and billing platform.
Demonstrated success working within a blended/hybrid revenue cycle partnership model.
Local proximity to Middle Tennessee area is strongly preferred.
