Director of Pickleball Programming The Atlanta Athletic Club (AAC) is a prestigious private 36-hole facility located 25 miles north of Atlanta. Founded in 1898 by a group of young professionals seeking a place to enjoy both indoor and outdoor athletics, the Club has continued to grow and evolve over its long history. Originally established downtown on Edgewood Avenue, AAC expanded over the decades, adding a golf course and country club at East Lake in 1915 before relocating to its current Johns Creek location in the late 1960s. The Club has been home to many great athletes, most notably Bobby Jones. Atlanta Athletic Club's Racquets Center is recognized as one of the premier private racquet facilities in the Southeast, featuring climate-controlled indoor courts, twelve outdoor Har-Tru clay and hard courts, and eight dedicated pickleball courts. Awarded Facility of the Year by both the USTA and the Georgia Professional Tennis Association, the center offers year-round programming, expert instruction, and exceptional playing experiences for members of all ages and skill levels. Position Summary The Director of Pickleball Programming supports the Racquet Sports Director in all aspects of the pickleball operation and is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day management of the department. This role serves as the primary on-site leader in the Sport. The Director of Pickleball Programming is expected to uphold the purpose and core values of the Club while delivering an exceptional experience for members and guests.
