GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Is responsible for the overall program operations and oversight of Preschool Services and fund development for operations and building enhancements. Is responsible for the overall supervision, direction, coordination, and evaluation of each staff person employed at Preschool Services. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable law. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
MONDAY-FRIDAY, 8:00AM-4:00PM
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Designs and implements procedures and programs that ensure regulation compliance.
- Coordinates and Implements marketing efforts of the program to secure referrals and increase enrollment.
- Provides to employees, job orientation and in-service training that is focused on the developmental, behavioral and health needs of the consumers.
- Develops, manages and coordinates service delivery for children 6 weeks to 5 years of age, including day-habilitation services, speech, physical and occupation therapy services to meet early intervention needs.
- Cooperatively works with other Pathfinder Preschool programs and service components.
- Reviews and adapts service delivery programs as needed.
- Participates in the development of plans of correction and operational plans, as they relate to the operation of the program.
- Assesses progress toward goals as planned by Individual Education or Family Service Plan.
- Oversees special services staff to assure each child receives specified services as planned.
- Oversees the maintenance and confidentiality of student files and records.
- Manages budget, approves purchase of supplies, and oversees billing data.
- Is responsible for the recruitment, hiring and supervision of Early Childhood Special Educators, Teaching Assistants, Receptionist, Service Coordinators, Food Service Manager and Enrollment/Assessment Professional, also oversees hiring of staff in other departments.
- Ensures that relevant DHS Standards are adhered to and CARF accreditation standards are met.
- Assures facility is maintained in a safe, peaceful, and clean condition.
- Assures all forms and records are completed in a timely manner.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree, plus 5 years related experience and 5 years related management experience.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Arkansas Driver's License, current auto liability insurance and registration and be physically able to drive to various locations in Arkansas.
