About the Opportunity

DAS Health is a rapidly growing healthcare technology MSP delivering innovative solutions to healthcare organizations nationwide. We are seeking a Director of Procurement to lead and modernize our end-to-end procurement, licensing, and hardware operations.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, implementing data-driven processes, and optimizing procurement strategies to support growth, client satisfaction, and margin performance. 

This position is a required onsite at DAS Health's Tampa, FL Headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement & Transformation
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with business objectives, margin growth, and operational efficiency.
  • Assess current procurement, licensing, and hardware operations and lead initiatives to create scalable, standardized, and auditable processes.
  • Establish procurement policies, controls, and governance to ensure transparency, compliance, and ethical conduct.
  • Partner with executive and operational stakeholders to align procurement strategy with organizational goals.
Financial Performance & Margin Management
  • Own gross margin performance for procurement, hardware, and licensing.
  • Develop financial models to track cost of goods sold (COGS) against client revenue.
  • Identify and eliminate margin leakage, and collaborate with Finance to improve forecasting and profitability analysis.
Licensing & Billing Oversight
  • Implement frameworks for managing all software and technology licenses, including SaaS, subscription, and perpetual models.
  • Ensure licensing margins are optimized, reconciliations are accurate, and audits are conducted to maintain compliance.
  • Oversee monthly variable billing processes to ensure accuracy and alignment with client usage.
Hardware Procurement & Fulfillment
  • Manage end-to-end hardware procurement, inventory, and fulfillment operations.
  • Optimize ordering, logistics, and fulfillment workflows to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Implement inventory forecasting and controls to support high-quality client service.
Vendor Management
  • Serve as the executive point of contact for technology, hardware, and licensing vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts, renewals, pricing, and terms to support business strategy and margin goals.
  • Monitor vendor performance through KPIs and regular business reviews; mitigate risks proactively.
Data, Reporting & Automation
  • Develop boards and reporting to provide visibility into costs, margins, inventory, vendor performance, and licensing utilization.
  • Leverage data to drive executive decision-making and implement automated, efficient processes.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement and licensing team.
  • Define clear roles, performance expectations, and career development paths.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field; Master’s or professional certification (e.g., CPSM, C.P.M.) preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive procurement experience, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role in a technology-driven or MSP organization.
  • Deep expertise in procurement, strategic sourcing, hardware procurement, inventory management, and licensing models.
  • Proven track record of transforming procurement operations and driving organizational improvements.
  • Strong financial acumen, including margin management and cost/revenue analysis.
  • Experience negotiating complex vendor agreements and managing large technology vendor portfolios.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
