Director of Product Management - Decion Agentic Platform
Reports to: Chief Product Officer
Location: MULTIPLE STATES (East Coast)
Role Overview
ToolsGroup is seeking a Director of Product Management - Decion Agentic Platform to lead the development of our next-generation, AI-native supply chain platform.
This is a mission-critical leadership role at the center of our transformation to an agentic, AI-first platform (Decion)-a platform that redefines how supply chains are planned, optimized, and operated through autonomous and semi-autonomous systems.
You will own the platform layer that powers Decion-including the agentic fabric, APIs, data and integration infrastructure, and core platform services-while enabling product and engineering teams across the company to build, extend, and scale on top of it.

What You'll Own
You will lead product strategy and execution for the Decion Platform, including:
Leadership Expectations (Critical)
This is not a traditional PM leadership role. You are expected to operate as a player-coach and platform leader:
Lead Through Vision
Lead Through Direct Ownership (Player-Coach)
Operate comfortably at multiple altitudes:
Strategic (platform vision, architecture direction)
Tactical (PRDs, epics, API definitions, capability design)
Actively contribute to:
Problem framing
Solution design
Product specifications
Use AI to accelerate your own output and the team's productivity
Lead Through Influence (Beyond Direct Team)
Drive product direction across multiple engineering teams who do not report to you
Build alignment across:
Platform engineering
Domain product teams (Demand, Inventory, etc.)
Architecture and UX
Ensure platform adoption through clarity, usability, and value-not authority
Lead Through People Management
Operating Model: AI-First Product Development (AI-PDLC)
ToolsGroup operates an AI-first Product Development Lifecycle (AI-PDLC).
You will be expected to:

Key Responsibilities
What You Bring
Required Experience
10+ years in Product Management and/or Engineering leadership (if Engineering background, some Product management - whether formally or informally is expected), with significant experience in platform products
Proven leadership experience as a Director or Group Manager
Strong track record operating as a player-coach in high-growth or complex environments
Experience leading across multiple engineering teams (direct and indirect)
Deep experience with:
API-first platforms
Developer-facing products
Distributed or composable architectures
Experience working in or with AI/ML-powered products or platforms
AI & Modern Product Development
Experience working in AI-first or highly automated development environments
Familiarity with:
LLM-powered applications
Agentic systems or orchestration frameworks
Hands-on use of AI tools for:
Prototyping
Product documentation
Workflow acceleration
Leadership & Influence
Proven ability to:
Lead through influence across large organizations
Align stakeholders across product and engineering
Drive adoption of shared platform capabilities
Strong executive communication skills
