A leading healthcare technology organization is seeking a Director of Product to help shape and execute the next generation of pharmacy benefit and healthcare products. This individual will combine deep market knowledge with product strategy, customer discovery, technology delivery, and commercialization experience.
The Director will own key portions of the product lifecycle, from identifying market opportunities and developing multi-year strategies through product development, go-to-market execution, and ongoing optimization. The role requires someone comfortable moving between executive strategy, customer conversations, product teams, and complex healthcare market dynamics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop market-informed product strategies and multi-year roadmaps across pharmacy and healthcare technology.
Lead customer discovery, market research, competitive analysis, and product validation.
Translate market opportunities and customer problems into product requirements and investment priorities.
Partner with Engineering, UX, Operations, QA, and Product Owners throughout agile product development.
Develop business cases, KPIs, success metrics, and commercialization strategies.
Represent products in client presentations, demonstrations, executive discussions, and RFP processes.
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Client Success on positioning, pricing, packaging, and go-to-market execution.
Monitor product adoption, client satisfaction, financial performance, and competitive developments.
Role Requirements:
8+ years of product management or related product leadership experience.
Deep understanding of pharmacy benefit management and the broader pharmacy ecosystem.
Experience owning complex healthcare, pharmacy, payer, or PBM technology products.
Demonstrated product strategy and multi-year roadmap experience.
Strong product discovery, customer research, and market-validation capabilities.
Experience working directly with healthcare clients and executive stakeholders.
Experience partnering with technology organizations in agile development environments.
Strong business-case development and financial analysis capabilities.
Experience supporting product commercialization and go-to-market initiatives.
Strong communication, presentation, and cross-functional leadership skills.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Experience within a growth-oriented or modern PBM environment.
Knowledge of eligibility, clinical programs, or GLP-1 programs.
Experience with PBM RFPs and product commercialization.
Exposure to AI-enabled healthcare products and workflow automation.
MBA or related advanced degree.
