Director of Production

Concreteworks East, a leading manufacturer of architecturalprecast concrete, is seeking an experienced and visionary Director ofProduction. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of ourproduction process, ensuring seamless operations, high-quality standards, andstrategic coordination among departments.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Oversee the entire productionprocess, from pre-production to post-production, ensuring manufacturingoperations run smoothly and efficiently.

Department Coordination: Directly manage ProjectManagement, Production Management, and all facility operations.

Budget Management: Monitor budgets, allocateresources effectively, and maintain financial discipline.

Process Improvement: Implement process enhancementsto optimize production efficiency.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functionalteams, including design, engineering, and quality control.

Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safetyprotocols throughout production.

Staff Management: Lead hiring, training, andperformance reviews for production staff.

Performance Metrics: Ensure company key performancemetrics are met and create KPIs for other teams.

Lean Manufacturing: Use lean manufacturing principlesto reduce breakdowns and waste while improving communication, organization, andplanning.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

6+ of experience in production/manufacturing management,preferably in architectural product manufacturing or fabrication.

Prover leadership experience.

Strong strategic planning skills and ability to driveprocess improvements.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Experience with ERP software, or dedicated inventory,quality control, and safety software.
