Since 1976, Florida Community Health Centers, Inc. (FCHC) has been a health care leader in Florida. We provide comprehensive primary and specialty health care and patient support services through a network of Centers surrounding Lake Okeechobee and across Florida's Treasure Coast. Our mission is to ensure that everyone in our communities has access to culturally competent, high-quality health care that they can afford. FCHC has locations in Clewiston, Moore Haven, Okeechobee, Fort Pierce, Port St. Lucie, Stuart, Indiantown, Pahokee and West Palm Beach. FCHC's Corporate Office is centrally located in West Palm Beach, Florida. FCHC has multiple staff members who speak Spanish and Creole, and translation is available for other languages as needed. FCHC has created a "one-stop shop" for patients-providing Pediatric and Adult Primary Care, Dental, OB/GYN and Women's Health, Infectious Disease, Behavioral Health, Pharmacy, chronic disease education and care management, referral assistance, benefit enrollment assistance and coordination, and telehealth services. Position Summary: As a member of Senior Management, responsible for managing existing grants and pursuing new funding opportunities (service expansion), responsible for public relations, and responsible for Board/staff development programs for Company. This includes analysis, planning, execution, control, and evaluation for all three areas. Seek additional funding opportunities such as Federal grants; state grants; local grants such as CSC, Healthy Start, jails and other local business, community or governmental related grants. Ensure existing grants are maintained and all reporting requirements are met to ensure continuation. Responsible for researching new business opportunities, to include additional services, delivery sites, and partnerships with community, business or civic organizations. Promote community interest and awareness for FCHC and attract new projects and collaborations to increase the number of patients served. Responsible for the development and execution of an annual Marketing Plan and budget to include promotional materials; print and media advertising; community functions such as health fairs and open houses; and education of state and federal legislative representatives. Responsible for coordinating the recruitment and training of new members to the Board of Directors for FCHC, as well as coordinating new member training and the annual Board of Directors training session.
