What You'll Be Responsible For
- Leading purchasing and procurement operations for a large residential construction division.
- Developing, coaching, and mentoring a team of purchasing professionals and support staff.
- Building strong partnerships with construction, operations, design, finance, and executive leadership teams.
- Driving supplier strategy, contract negotiations, cost management, and vendor performance initiatives.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiencies, and support continued business growth.
- Monitoring market trends, pricing, material availability, and supply chain performance.
- Supporting strategic planning and budgeting activities.
- Ensuring purchasing decisions align with quality, schedule, customer experience, and financial objectives.
- Creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain leadership experience.
- Experience leading teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Proven success negotiating contracts, managing vendors, and driving cost-effective purchasing strategies.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

Work Environment
This is an onsite leadership position based in North Dallas
The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a strong in-office presence, actively support their team, and collaborate closely with operational leadership Monday through Friday.
