Job Description
· The Director of Recruitment and Student Engagement provides strategic leadership for student recruitment, enrollment outreach, and student engagement initiatives that support enrollment growth, retention, and student success. This position develops and executes a comprehensive recruitment strategy while fostering a vibrant campus environment through student programming, leadership development, and co-curricular experiences. The Director collaborates across academic and student affairs to ensure a seamless student experience from prospective student through graduation.
The Director of Recruitment and Student Engagement's work hours may include evenings, weekends, or holidays, depending on special events. This individual must be able to drive and travel independently, with possible overnight travel. The Director of Recruitment and Student Engagement reports to the Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Develop, implement, and execute a comprehensive recruitment plan designed to achieve annual enrollment goals.
2. Plan and implement recruitment activities for school districts and external service programs, including onsite activities.
3. Develop and manage communication strategies for prospective students and families throughout the recruitment cycle.
4. Work with the College marketing company to prepare and distribute recruitment materials for prospective students.
5. Create recruitment materials for prospective students.
6. Coordinate and contribute to the success of campus visit programs, on-site and virtual, for prospective students and parents.
7. Oversee the planning and implementation of campus-wide student activities, traditions, leadership programs, and special events.
8. Support and advise the Student Government Association and student organizations.
9. Assist in providing resources and opportunities for students to explore career and degree options, including but not limited to workshops, seminars, and career fairs.
10. Assist with engagement activities and commencement ceremonies.
11. Develop and implement a Clarendon College Bulldog Ambassador program.
12. Use the funds of the institution allocated to the budget of the department or special projects effectively and efficiently.
13. Work on standing and ad hoc committees of the College, as assigned.
14. Support College activities and special events through attendance and/or participation.
15. Comply with all college policies, rules, and regulations.
16. Perform all other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs and/or the President.
Position Available: Immediately until filled.
Salary: Commensurate with education and experience.
