Advertised Job Summary

The Director of Recruitment provides strategic leadership for the development and execution of data-driven enrollment initiatives focused on online and non-traditional student populations. This role oversees the Central enrollment services team, including regional admissions and recruitment staff, and is responsible for coaching, performance management, and aligning team efforts with institutional enrollment goals.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to a wide range of audiences. Demonstrated ability to leverage data management and analysis to inform decision-making, track recruitment performance, and improve enrollment outcomes. Strong motivational and sales-oriented mindset with keen attention to detail.

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, analyze priorities, and work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Proven ability to interpret and utilize data from CRM systems, relational databases, and reporting tools (including Excel) to develop insights, guide strategy, and enhance recruitment effectiveness.

Ability to build relationships with a diverse population of prospective students with tact, diplomacy, and discretion. Knowledge of the admissions process required, with related experience in a college or university setting preferred. Strong technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and database systems.

Capable of standing for extended periods and managing large volumes of recruitment materials. Energetic, creative, and outgoing, with a demonstrated ability to plan and execute events and achieve measurable results in a performance-driven environment.
