JOB SUMMARY:
The Director of Regional Operations is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational performance across multiple regional sites. This position ensures alignment with organizational goals, drives operational excellence, and fosters collaboration among cross-functional teams to deliver reliable service and efficiency. This role is critical to ensure that regional operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with the broader organizational vision. The Director of Regional Operations will be a key driver of operational success and continuous improvement across the region.
COMPENSATION:$94,000 to $104,000annually (depending on experience)

REPORTS TO: Chief Technology Officer
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Lead and manage regional operations to achieve Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets and service excellence.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the organization's mission and objectives.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and quality standards.
- Monitors and reviews ongoing capital project origin and status updates.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to shape organizational structure and operational priorities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and systems thinking methodologies.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal departments and external stakeholders to enhance regional service delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and develop regional teams to foster technical ownership, accountability, and professional growth.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports for executive review.
- Manage budgets, resource allocation, and operational risks effectively.
- Champion innovation and technology-driven change to modernize operations and improve customer experience.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of four (4) years of demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex organizational change in a regional or multi-site operations role, preferably in public transit or related sectors.
