    The Director of Rehabilitation is responsible for the overall management, growth, efficiency and effective operation of the Rehabilitation department, along with the compliance to all professional standards. The Director of Rehabilitation is part of TransPerfect’s Health leadership team and supervises all members of the facility Rehabilitation team.

    Key Responsibilities

    · Provide rehabilitation services based upon discipline and licensed Scope of Practice

    · Plan, manage and evaluate the programs and staff of the rehabilitation department

    · Responsible for attending facility meetings such as stand-up, Medicare and care planning

    · Responsible for the daily operations of the rehabilitation department, which includes, but not limited to the following items:

    o Creation of staff schedules to ensure there is sufficient levels of staffing at all times

    o Monitor admissions

    o Assign new evaluations and screenings

    o Develop treatment schedules

    o Maintain staff utilization to ensure proper levels of billable and non-billable time

    o Case management

    o Completion of screening

    o Track & document minimum data set assessment periods and data

    o Ensure staff compliance and utilization of all automated therapy management tools

    o Monitor & assist with personnel compliance standards including required credentials, corrective actions and improvement plans

    · Management of labor hours worked by Therapist and optimize productivity to increase fiscal growth

    · Assist in recruitment, hiring and retention of Therapy staff

    · New staff training and orientation

    · Completion of medical documentation and chart audits

    · Identify program development needs of the individual community and implement appropriate programming

    · Promote a positive working environment between employees, clients and facilities

    · Set and implement departmental goals and objectives, guidelines, policies & procedures relative to the functioning of the department

    · Knowledge of therapy software, i.e. Electronic Patient Record (EMR)

    · Ability to multitask in order to execute multiple projects

    · Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations

    · Performance management, support, and development of reports

    · Patient Driven Payment Model (PDPM) knowledge

    · Medicaid case-mix knowledge

    Requirements and Qualifications

    · Registered Therapist or Therapy Assistant of any discipline

    · Current and valid State Licensure
