Director of Residential Living Services Join the team at Dock Woods! Come Live & Grow – Together! The Director of Residential Living oversees residential living services throughout the community. This role helps plan and manage programs that support residents' health, well-being, and social needs. The director supervises staff and promotes a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high-quality care for residents.At Living Branches, we believe safe, affordable housing improves quality of life. Dock Woods offers rental-assistance apartments for seniors who qualify for HUD housing subsidies. Dock Manor is an important part of the Dock Woods community, and the Director of Residential Living is responsible for managing Dock Manor as well as our independent living neighborhoods.Reporting directly to the campus executive director, the Director of Residential Living oversees a team of five and serves on both the Dock Woods campus leadership team and the Living Branches Leadership Group. Director of Resident Living Overview:Instructs and supervises staff to ensure that sufficient programs and services are available to best meet the needs of the residents.Assists in orientation and training of new employees, participates in their ongoing training, and participates in the hiring and disciplinary processes.Acts as a liaison and advocate between Living Branches and hospitalized residents. Coordinates the resident needs of our out-sourced residents and plans for their return to the Living Branches campus.Analyzes the program needs of the residents and assists in the development of services offered to ensure that the programs are meeting the service needs and promoting the highest quality of resident care.Works with the RL Nurse to ensure that evaluations are preformed to determine the level of care and continually evaluate to make sure the resident's needs are being metMaintains documentation as required by regulations and organizational policies.Serves as the Manager of record of the senior HUD property and maintains property as per HUD regulationHUD experience preferredBachelor's degree in Social Services, Human Services or other related field required5+ years in long-term care with supervisory experience preferredExperience providing care for geriatric persons or working with dementia residentsStrong managerial skills to provide guidance and direction, set performance standards and monitor performance of subordinates At Living Branches, a community with a 5-star CMS rating, our roots run deep!
