    Director of SUD Residential Services
      Reports To:
      Vice President of Clinical Services
      Required Qualifications:
    • Licensed Master Addictions Counselor (LMAC)
    • Two years of leadership/management experience
      Preferred Qualifications:
    • Four years of leadership/management experience
    • Two years of clinical experience
    • Current clinical licensure
      Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
    • Strong leadership and crisis management skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Effective oral and written communication skills  
    • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with employees and students
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
      Position Summary:
    This role entails overseeing residential techs, nurses and counseling staff to guarantee the daily    operations of the residential unit and clinical programming adhere to quality standards.  Additionally, the Director of Residential Services will ensure that residential patients receive high-quality therapeutic services. 
      Essential Job Functions:
    • Supervise residential techs, nurses and counselors; provide weekly supervision, ongoing coaching and conduct performance evaluations
    • Ensure residential documentation is completed accurately and timely
    • Ensure regulatory compliance for accreditation, licensing, and adherence to HIPAA, KDADS, CARF, 42 CFR Part 2, and SAMHSA standards
    • Maintain patient files and keep prepared for site visits
    • Direct and coordinate activities of practicum students
    • Counsel patients individually and in a group setting
    • Assist detox patients in developing discharge plans and follow up services
    • Establish and maintain work schedules of residential staff
    • Work with admissions to manage the waiting list for patients and budgeted census
    • Establish and maintain relationships with external agencies, referral sources, and courts
    • Assist when admissions department is unavailable or out of the office
    • Provide oversight of patients’ schedule and group activities
    • Understand and implement all Tap 21 Addiction Counseling Competencies
    • Review and update residential handbook, policies and procedures, and plans
    • Comply with all CKF policies and procedures and related clinical licensure policies
    • Other duties as assigned
      Physical Requirements:
     
      Based on an 8-hour day
    • Sit – Frequently 2.5 – 5.5 hrs daily
    • Stand - Frequently 2.5 – 5.5 hrs daily
    • Lift/Carry 0-10 lbs. - Frequently 2.5 – 5.5 hrs daily
    • Lift/Carry 10-50 lbs. – Occasionally .25 – 2.5 hrs daily
    • Walk – Frequently 2.5 – 5.5 hrs daily
    • Reach Above – Frequently 2.5 – 5.5 hrs daily
    • Bend/Stoop – Frequently 2.5 – 5.5 hrs daily
    • Use of hands pushing/pulling – Occasionally .25 – 2.5 hrs daily
    • Use of hands – Fine Manipulation – Continuously 5.5 – 8 hrs daily
    • Stress Level - High
      PHI Access Level:
    Level 2 – This position will have regular access to patient records, no access to employee medical information

    Office environment with moderate noise level
