  • Develop Sales Strategies:Create comprehensive sales plans to achieve the hotel's financial goals for rooms, food and beverage, and event spaces. 

  • Set Pricing & Rates:Determine room rates and pricing for other hotel services based on market conditions, competitor analysis, and demand. 

  • Conduct Market Research:Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer demand to identify opportunities and refine sales strategies. 

  • Forecast Revenue:Generate accurate sales forecasts to help the hotel plan for future revenue and manage budgets. 
Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead Sales Teams:Oversee and motivate a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and training on sales techniques. 

  • Monitor Performance:Track the daily activities of the sales team and manage their performance against established metrics. 

  • Coach & Mentor:Mentor sales staff on cutting-edge sales techniques and technologies to enhance their skills. 
Client Relations & Business Development

  • Solicit New Business:Actively seek out new clients and accounts through various channels, including cold calls, mailings, and face-to-face meetings. 

  • Nurture Client Relationships:Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, as well as new corporate clients and event planners. 

  • Negotiate Contracts:Draft and negotiate contracts with clients to secure new business and ensure profitable outcomes. 
Marketing & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Marketing:Work with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and strategies to expand the hotel's client base. 

  • Utilize Digital Channels:Leverage social media, property websites, and other digital tools to achieve revenue goals. 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:Liaise with other departments, such as revenue management, marketing, and operations, to ensure a unified approach to guest satisfaction and hotel profitability. 
Sales Operations

  • Manage Client Information:Oversee and update customer relationship management (CRM) systems with account information and bookings. 

  • Oversee Events & Banquets:Manage sales efforts related to group bookings, conferences, and events held at the hotel. 

  • Ensure Customer Satisfaction:Interact with clients to get feedback on service levels and product quality to identify areas for improvement.
